What's for dinner?
Enjoy one of Mountain View's many restaurants during your getaway. Breakfast at Rainbow Cafe, Lunch at Bushel and a Peck for Lunch and a big pizza pie for dinner at Tommy's are some of my favorites. Or, if you're looking for a quiet meal at the Cabin, most restaurants offer meals to go! Check out the list below for some of my local favorites.

Tommy's Famous Pizza
You won't find a better pizza or calzone, but you also won't want to miss the BBQ and ribs. Tommy's has limited seating in their small dining room with a fun quirky atmosphere. Be prepared to wait a little while...great pizza takes time!

Angler's
With tons of windows, Angler’s offers a great view of the White River, a varied menu, and is the ONLY restaurant in town with a liquor license! So, you can enjoy an adult beverage with your meal while you watch the fishermen reel in their catch. The large patio is fantastic for outdoor dining with a beautiful view on a nice day. Family friendly.

The Skillet Restaurant
Open seasonally, The Skillet Restaurant at the Ozark Folk Center State Park is nestled atop a wooded Ozark hill with large windows in the glass-enclosed, natural cedar and stone dining room. Featuring wildlife feeding stations, a butterfly garden, and a water garden, it is frequented by birds, raccoons, foxes, and an occasional bear. While taking in this natural scenery outside, enjoy the tasty Southern country menu. ​

Now open in their new location with Urban Forge on Main St, this traditional American restaurant is a quaint spot in Mountain View serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast specials, waffles, crepes, salads, soups, burgers, sandwiches, and more. ​

Krispy House (LUNCH)
This Old fashioned down home quirky retro catfish and burger joint is a locals favorite. Established in the 1940’s, Krispy House has been family owned and operated since 1968. The fried catfish and burgers will satisfy even the heartiest appetites.
